Cancer Sucks I Know!

HOPE is that powerful force that guides us through our darkest hours. It’s that guiding light that brightens the path ahead of us when everything seems dark and uncertain. Hope reminds us that there’s always a chance for things to improve. It’s that faint light in the distance that keeps us moving forward, to that dark path ahead. So, my friend, hold onto hope. Let it fuel your steps, brighten your path, and guide you toward to an unwavering belief that better days lay ahead. I want to ensure I don’t misguide you here about HOPE. It’s important to understand cancer as a metabolic disease, and with dedication and significant lifestyle changes, it’s possible for you to alter your path.

Hi 👋🏼 Hello, my name is Marc Chianelli, and I am 44 years old. At 42, I received a diagnosis of Palliative Care, Incurable, Inoperable, Terminal Stage 4 cancer. It had metastasized to my lungs, side and various lymph nodes throughout my body with more local recurrence. I was told I had one year to live. Back then, hope was scarce, the odds were against me, belief was absent, and the chance of survival was nonexistent which is very different for me today. My journey with cancer began when I was 41.

I’m sharing to give hope and inspiration when I felt there was none.

In a rapid succession of events, I progressed from stage 1 to 4 in 10 months.

This is my story below 👇🏼 Today, I proudly stand as a Stage 4 Cancer Thriver!
